It turns out that people are no longer interested in the traditional ODI's and more so Test matches since Twenty20 has been hogging the limelight.
Many international television broadcasters have complained that selling Test and one-day cricket to viewers nowadays is as difficult as selling Masala Dosa in China.
People like the exciting new Twenty20 format... for obvious reasons. And ever since Dhoni's Team India won the Twenty20 World Cup, Indian junta has been craving for more of it.
An excutive of a Sports Channel said, "We really have no problem as broadcasters because if Twenty20 cricket is the order of the day we will adapt to it but this makes it very difficult for us to sell Test and one-day games scheduled in the future tours programme."
Twenty20 is easily the most famous in India. The hugely successful IPL, Twenty20's latest progeny became a craze when it was held during the summer. It brought Cricket and Celebs together on the field and brought members of families together for dinner at home.
Twenty20 is the undisputed glowing future for cricket around the world. The only downside is.. no one would want to watch sluggish Test matches anymore.
